    1. Chat scheduled for Monday, August 21
    2. Hi everyone, We're going to have a chat on Monday, Aug. 21, at 9:00 EST. This is a time change from the usual as some many requested the chat to take place earlier. If anyone has suggestions for topic discussions or ideas of what we should come prepared to talk about, could you email me at bearpaw@alaska.net? We'll be using AOL Instant Messenger, like we did before using the Yahoo! Chat room. That way we can save it and archive it for all to see. If you need to download the software for it, let me know and I'll send you the site. Hope to see everyone there! peg

I wonder if David Barfield could be a second husband. Keziah was the daughter of Cyrus Davis of Caroline County, Virginia. Cyrus had a sister named Keziah too, who married a Davenport, but that was before 1760 so that's probably not your Keziah. -- Mark James <tmark@geocities.com> __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? The problem I saw had nothing to do with correcting spelling. As an article in Parade magazine mentioned on Sunday (paraphrased): If you are a good speller you are probably highly intelligent; but you may be highly intelligent and not be a good speller. If you have lower intelligence, you are probably not a good speller; but you may be a bad speller and not have low intelligence. I read such phrases as: "come down off your throne" :people who may not have your almighty ability" "SO JUST KEEP YOUR OPINIONS TO YOURSELF AND NOT ANSWER IF YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS FAMILY!" "If your so stupid that you can't figure out who Im looking for than you should just MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!" and was appalled that anyone on our list would speak to another member in this way. I did (and do) consider these flames. The matter of spelling is quite another issue. A son Charles was born to Michael in VA in 1860. The 1870 census shows him as a farmer in MD with a wife Mary age 30 born in MD and two more children, Mary A. age 3 and Michael age 5/12, both born in MD. There is a possibility that Michael resided in Caroline County before he went to MD. Any information regarding Michael and Hannah would be greatly appreciated. Bill Quesenberry Bilque@aol.com
