Hello, I would like to let you know of two small changes in the way you receive your Caroline County list mail. The list will now be sent to you with the prepend, 'VACAROLI' before each post. The change is being made so that you will be able to identify your Caroline County mail from other posts. I realize that it will take up a portion of the Subject line, but I think you will find it a worthwhile addition. Also, I have activated the 'Reply To List' option for the list mail. It is generally a better idea to have an answer to a post be sent automatically to the list, rather than to the sender only. It is *very* important to remember this change is now in place, and not accidentally send us all a personal message intended for the sender! For a while, you may want to watch the 'Send To' box more closely after you hit ''Reply', until you get used to it. If you have any problems with the new changes, please just let me know. Thanks, LaRae guest listmgr. TimeTrvlrO@aol.com

Posted on: Caroline Co. Va Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Va/Caroline/1837 Surname: Burke ------------------------- Thank you, this is helpful. Of course these things are also open to mistakes... not on your part, but on the person that is entering the information. I don't know who George Washington Burke or Frances Au Burke were. Also I don't know who Thomas M. Burke was... could it have been Thomas H. Burke? My records for John G. Woolfolk show his death 16 Apr 1819. Jourdan W. Burke, born January 5th 1832 was really Jourdan M (Muse) Burke, born 5 Jan 1834.

Hello everyone, Good idea, Cindy...this is a great time for a Roll Call, so let's set up a couple of guidelines before we begin.... 1. Post the first person or couple of each of your Caroline County families. 2. Include the township and birth and death dates, or <ca> with your best guess. 3. Be sure to add your name and a website URL if your work is online. 4. Change 'Roll Call' in the Subject line to show your own surnames! Best of luck...hope we all find a new cousin or two!
