If you are interested in these please let me know, otherwise I am sorry I couldn't help you. Elaine

    2. I wanted to clarify that he never came to Kentucky. Lawrence Young that I mentioned would have died in what is now Caroline, Virginia. His son Richard Young also died in Caroline, Virginia. Grandson, John Young came to Fayette County Kentucky and died there in 1798. Great Grandson Ambrose M. Young died in 1839 in Fayette County Kentucky. Finally Great Great Grandson Richard M. Young died in Washington D. C. He was a Politician. These conclusions, you would deduced by reading the Letter that I was talking about. I am not sure were you got the Idea that Lawrence or Richard Young went to Kentucky. I did not think I said that, but someone could have thought as much. Jeff Jeppson

    3. Lee, How close are you to the Library of VA? I need some eyes in VA for a minute!! Question In the old Ct. Order Books online at New River Notes I found a small notation: Lunenburg, Co. VA. Suit dropped Hezikiah Cockrum vs ?? Huskerson...........off top of my head I believe his first name was John. Anyway, that was it.............................. I have often wondered what this was about? Suit for what? Was his wife Elizabeth a Huskerson?? I need someone who can get to this library to see if perhaps there is more to this than what is shown online. I live in GA and can't do that from here. Suggestions? 1. Lawrence or Richard Young family
    2. I am just wanting to let Researchers know that I am still Researching a Lawrence Young, who was supposedly the first man in Fredricksburg, Virginia and later settled in Caroline County Kentucky. His Youngest son was a Richard Young and lived on the Old Homestead in the County. This is taken from a Letter that was written to Richard M. Young from his Uncle Ambrose Madison Young of Fayette County Kentucky in around 1833. Lawrence Young is said to be Richard M. Young's Great Great Grandfather. I would like to know where I could start in finding out Information on Lawrence and Richard Young. It would appear that the timeframe would be in the 1680's to about 1780 timeframe for this area. What are your thoughts? Jeff Jeppson Mt. Eden, Spencer County, Kentucky.
