They once lived on the north side of what is now Hwy 301 where, when I was last there, a small cafe was in operation, near the bridge. They lived near Guinea Station at 'Spring Grove,' and indications are that an old graveyard there was of the family. Dr. John's brother, Dr. William, is buried with his Moncure inlaws at Aquia. I'd enjoy corresponding with anyone knowledgeable of such connections.
