Va. My maternal grandfather, was his grandson. We have trouble linking all of this together, as his mother, Eliza Jackson (I think she is Dinks oldest child) had several children, some with different last names. Was your Dinks' first name William? If so would love to know any information that you have as to the history. My mother Beatrice Franklin Parker, has few memories of the family, as she was born in DC, where Eliza eventually migrated. Thanks for any help you can give.
Among my ancestors were the couple Wm. Francis Jackson and Lucinda Beasley/Beazley. There were several of the latter in and around Caroline, so I'm wondering if they (who wound up in Pike Co, IL) could have originated there? Any ideas? We're talking ca l830 or so.

Hello, all. Thomas SCOTT b. 6-15-1718 in Caroline Co., VA., later became the husband of Martha WILLIAMS, b. 5-2-1727, also in Caroline Co. The father of Thomas was James SCOTT, b. before 1690 in Scotland, and his wife was Barbara CLAN, all data unknown. Were James and Barbara married in Scotland, or after they met in the colonies?? Who were the parents of James? Where in Scotland was he born? When did he migrate to the colonies?? Who were the parents of Barbara? Where was she born? If she was born in Scotland, when did she migrate to the colonies?? You can see that there is just a little bit of missing info, here!! Thanks very much for any help!! Joe DUKE
Hello, all. The old family tree keeps on growing branches, and one which I have not yet fully explored is this one, below. My DUNCAN lady was named Frances DUNCAN, and she would have been born about 1700. She married Rice WILLIAMS, before August of 1726. Her daughter was b. 5-2-1727, and her name was Martha WILLIAMS. Were there other children?? I do not know any other names for children (assuming there were more) and have not yet tried to find any info about Frances, concerning her child-hood family. Martha WILLIAMS was b. in Caroline Co., VA, so it may be that the family was there for a while. Martha's father was Rice WILLIAMS, and I do not know his date of birth, either. Seeking any info about Frances, the DUNCAN family from which she came, and any info about Rice WILLIAMS, also, as well as more about Martha WILLIAMS. Thanks for looking. Joe DUKE
