Cindy, You may want to check Lynchburg city hall as well. The VA cities are incorporated separately from the counties and have their own separate birth, death and marriage records. Also, the city library will have the local newspaper on microfilm. That is invaluable for obituaries and etc. Happy hunting! Cindy, Appomattox County used to be a part of Campbell County, so you might go by there too. I just found that out, looking for White Marsh that is sort of I think maybe on the County line.
