I have a Samuel Walker b. est. 1780-90 m. Nancy (Wilsen?) died 1819 in the Iredell/Davie Co., NC area. Possible brother is Lee Walker of Rowan Co., NC. There was a Richard Walker b. Davie Co., NC in 1797 and moved to Wilkes Co., NC by 1830. The names William and John also appear in Davie Co. with birthdates from a similar time frame (siblings?). Everyone seems to be at a deadend on these Walkers. My ggggrandfather moved to the Ashe Co. area of NC about 1880-82. I'm wondering why he chose that area. Was there a family connection there?
