Anyone know of Colonel Samuel Patteson [Patterson]? He married Elizabeth Reveley in 1828, and they lived in Campbell County. Their daughter Mary married Edward Burton. Mary and Edward had seven children, Samuel m. Fanny Cheatham; Hudson m. Lula Haden; Lawrence Burton m. Carrie Rumbough; Maggie m. William Nelms in Norfolk County; Belle;William; Gabrello. Colonel Samuel Patteson and Lawrence Burton are the ancestors of my cousin Pat Reveley Temple, nee Burton. I would love to find more on the Colonel for her! TIA, Sarah Reveley
