The next meeting of the Campbell County Historical Society will be this Sunday, July 28, 2002, 3:30 pm at the Historic Courthouse in Rustburg. Edith Poindexter will present a program on, "Crossings of The Staunton," with information on mills, ferries and such. An update on the progress of the museum will also be given. The meeting is open to the public and we hope to see everyone there! If you are not a member of the CCHS and would like to be all it takes is $10 per year membership fee. You will receive a quarterly newsletter that contains historical articles pertaining to Campbell County and it's people. It also will keep you informed on what is going on to help preserve our Campbell Heritage, and where there is room it will also have queries we have received from people searching for their roots.
