John JOHNSON received by Patent a land grant in Bedford County, lying on the North side of Stanton River near Green Spring Creek. This was before 1782, at which time a portion of Bedford became Campbell Co. Does anyone know where this creek was located? Would it now be in Bedford or Campbell Co.? Is anyone researching John JOHNSON? I sure could use some help! Thanks!
