Amelia Talley [Obituary of Pearl Grishaw, The News, 5 January 1967, p. B-4] Pearl Grishaw, 81, of Rt. 2, Rustburg, died Wednesday 1 a.m. at Memorial Hospital after an illness of three weeks. Born in Campbell County, she was the daughter of James Edward and Emma Rosser Grishaw. She was a member of Early Chapel Methodist Church. She is survived by a brother, Thomas Edward Grishaw of Rustburg; one niece and two nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. today at Whitten Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jerry Falwell with burial in the family cemetery near Bethany Church in Rustburg. The family will be at the home of her nephew, Johnny Grishaw, at East Brook Road in Rustburg.
