Hi, I checked my Virginia marriage CD and a CD I have of Hinshaw's Quaker records which includes marriages for Campbell and Bedford counties. I do not believe that the marriages for Lynchburg are on these CDs. I could only find one reference with David and Nancy in the records. This was the marriage record of Greenville/Granville Arthur and Frances Dakin who was the daughter of David and Nancy. David is noted as deceased. I found several people who are in the records also spelled as Deacon. Is your family related to the Quaker family of this name that ends up in Ohio? There is a Jonathan Deacon married to Sally Crews in Amherst Co. The bond date is Dec 3, 1787. This Jonathan appears to be the father of several women named Dakin or variations who marry in Bedford County in the 1820s and 1830s. Sorry I couldn't find your marriage, Marilyn Jackson
