Jas. Garland, Judge of the Corporation Court of Lynchburg, joined the Court Street M.E. Church, in that city, last Sunday." I'm interested in knowing what denomination that is. James Garland also had a cousin, James Powell Garland, who was a pastor in the the same denomination in several locations. Is this Methodist or possibly Episcopalian?
