There were two lines of Scotts in Campbell County, Va. One branch is my Joseph Scott branch, and I believe the other came off of James or Thomas Scott. I have a document you may be interested in that I found in a very old book at Campbell County Court House. It is a land transfer document between Patrick Henry and Thomas Scott. Since its not my line, it is most likely yours. I made a copy of it, if you dont have one. Kathy Scott Dudley
