A Missouri History Lists: SCOTT: John Scott of Campbell County, Virginia, married the widow of Little Page, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Matthews. They had two children, Matthias and Martha. The latter died in Virginia and the former married in 1804 to Elizabeth Wayne of Virginia. They settled in Montgomery County Kentucky, wherre they lived for 25 years and, then, in 1829, they came to Missouri and settled in Callaway County. They had 13 children. After the death of his first wife, Mr Scott married Elizabeth Barnes, by whom he had one child. He died in 1852, but his widow still survives (in 1876).
