It has information about Vincent and the trip to Ohio from Virginia, but does not say anything about Vincent's ancestry. Mostly it is about James Glass and Mary Dunn Glass' family. My ggg grandfather was also a Vincent Glass. The first records I have of him are a February, 1746 Lunenburg County, Va court order. This order concerns him being bound out by the churchwardens of Cumberland Parish as his father, Vincent, is deceased. That is all I know about Vincent's father--that his name is Vincent and he probably died around 1745-46 in Lunenburg County. I don't think Vincent who died in 1746 is your ancestor because he already had one son named Vincent who was a child and bound out at his death. I feel there was some relationship and your Henry Vincent Glass may have been named after my gggg grandfather Vincent. He died 1745-46 and Henry Vincent was born in 1746. But I don't believe they were father and son. Please let me know if you would like to have copies of this booklet and I will be glad to send it to you. I am participating in the Glass DNA studies (with a male Glass cousin providing the DNA), but so far have not hit pay dirt on Vincent (d. 1746). Linda
