John was born Feb. 28, 1819 in Campbell County, VA. This Hughes family went from VA, TN, IN, and finally in MO. John died in MO. John D Hughes was married to Mary Franklin and Adaline Carr. Several children from both marriages. What I'm trying to find is who were John D Hughes's parents or if he had any brother's or sister's. I'd love to find out what the D stood for. Any help or ideas on this family I'd really appreciate. I have limited access to the internet and resources. So this is making my research very hard.
