Denice, Why didn't you write me direct? William Buford Russell is my grandfather. He died 15 Dec 1971 and is buried in a private, family cemetery near what was his home (and his father's and grandfather's before him) in Campbell County just off Route 29 approx 2.5 miles south of Lynchburg. His first wife, Elizabeth Winston (Withers) is buried there also. His second wife, Lillie H. (Ewart), is buried in Spring Hill Cemetery which is located in the City of Lynchburg. The SSDI is correct in listing Pappa's residence as City of Lynchburg. He was residing in a nursing home at the time of his death. If I can help you further, please let me know.
