I need help in finding out any info on this 4th great grandfather, Robert Douglass. He lived in Augusta Co. VA before 1758 when my 3rd great grandfather was born. He was living in Bedford Co. VA in 1777 when my 3rd great gf volunteered for the Revolutionary War. Then he was living in Campbell Co, prob. from the time it was organized (1781) until his death. I did get 2 transcriptions of his will, and both were different. He had names of his children as: James, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jency (Jane), Betsy, Mary, Robert II, & Nancy.. Robert's money & land was not divided until James' death, which I believe was 1836. (That date was when my Robert II got some money from probate. Any help would really be appreciated. I don't have any land, probate, etc. on this family.
