Hi: Jim & Helen: I could use some help in Campbell Co., VA. and would certainly appreciate any help you could give me. I'm looking for any records on my Fourth great grandfather, Robert Douglass, ca 1700 Antrim Co., Ireland- 1794. Campbell Co., VA. Records show that he was in Augusta Co., VA in 1754, and in 1762, he was in Bedford Co., VA. When Campbell Co. was organized, he lived in that County. His wife was named Mary Cummin, Cumming, b. 1720 in Doon Co. Ireland. His children were James Elizabeth, Robert, Joahua, Betty 'Betsy' , Mary, Nancy, Jane 'Jency'. I found his Will recorded in two books, but thereto, those wills differ. I've not located any land, church or any records other than he did have a will probated in Campbell Co. in October, 1794. Anything that you could turn up would be appreciated.
