Nash and Sallie Ann Nash, Thomas Clark Alexander, Frances Judith Alexander and Edward Clarendon Alexander and such other persons as may be interred in or have burial rights in a certain burial ground or graveyard on land located in Campbell County, Virginia, near Flat Creek and US Route 29 ( Wards Road), owned by Rockydale Stone Service Trust, Martin Willis, Trustee, and leased to Boxley Materials Company who are made parties defendants by the general description of parties unknown, Defendants Order of Publication The object of this suit is to obtain an order finding that a tract of 136 acres located near Flat Creek and US Route 29 (Wards Road) in Campbell County, Virginia (at one time owned by Henry Alexander and now owned by the Plaintiff Martin Willis, Trustee for Rockydale Stone Service Trust and now leased by Plaintiff Boxley Materials Company) contains a burial ground or graveyard that has been abandoned and that it is in the best interests of all persons that the Court authorize the Plaintiffs to remove and disinter all bodies, so far as they can be located, and transfer and re-inter any remains in the Spring hill cemetery in the City of Lynchburg, Virginia, and to quite title to the 136 acres in the name of Martin Willis, Trustee for Rockydale Stone trust so that the entire 136 acres may be used in connection with quarry operated by Boxley Materials Company. And it appearing from an Affidavit filed herein that there are or may be persons whose names are unknown, who are the heirs, descendants and successors in interest to John W. Nash and Sallie Ann Nash, Thomas Clark Alexander, Frances Judith Alexander and Edward Clarendon Alexander and such other persons as may be interred in or have burial rights in a certain burial ground or graveyard on land located inCampbell County, Virginia, near Flat Creek and US Route 29 (Wards Road), ( owned by Rockydale Stone Service Trust, Martin Willis, trustee, and leased to Boxley Materials Company) who are made parties defendant by general description of parties unknown do appear before July 6, 2007 at 9:00 A.M. and do what is necessary to protect their interest herein. It would be a good idea for anyone seeing Legal Notices concerning the move of the cemetery to post it on Rootsweb and the message boards for the county and surnames involved, I think! Is there any way to find out thru the internet when legal notices are posted on anything of historical concern?
