I found one Charles Taylor of Campbell County, VA, signed his Will Oct. 3, 1799. He devised his whole estate [no detail] to his wife during her natural life, and requested her to make a division of estate as she think proper among their children at her death [no names]. Witnesses were J. Morris, Joseph Aikin. The wife was named as Executrix, but her given name doesn't appear until the will was proved in Court Apr. 14, 1800, at which time Mary Taylor, Executrix, was granted certificate for obtaining probate. William Reed and Joseph Aikin were her securities. (Campbell Co. VA Will Book 1, p. 416) [My source: T. L. C.
