This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: helenseaton687 Surnames: HELM and GILBERT Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.campbell/2137/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I will be passing through VA soon and won't have more than a day to look around in Campbell and Bedford Counties. Are there genealogical records available locally that cannot be found at the state library in Richmond? I want to make the best use of the short amount of time I have. The surnames I am concerned with are are primarily HELM and GILBERT in the late 1700's - before and after the Revolutionary War. Thanks, Helen Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I suggest you pay a visit to the Jones Memorial Library in Lynchburg. They have an amazing amount of genealogy information for the local area. http://www.jmlibrary.org/ Drema gc-gateway@rootsweb.com wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: helenseaton687 > Surnames: HELM and GILBERT > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.campbell/2137/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > I will be passing through VA soon and won't have more than a day to look around in Campbell and Bedford Counties.
