Edward Clarendon Alexander was born 13 May 1844 in Campbell County, Virginia, the son of Henry Ashton Alexander and Sarah Ann Moorman (my 2nd great grandparents). He was conscripted 1 Feb 1864 into Company G, 2nd Cavalry and was killed 16 May 1864 at Meadows Bridge. Where is he buried and where is he being moved? What can I do to help? Edward had two brothers who also were soldiers. William died 8 Sept 1861. Samuel survived and was paroled at Appomattox but was a invalid for the rest of his life. Mary --- Mary E.
