In reference to James Watts Terrell and his wife, Gabrilla Hightower Callaham Terrell Trent: "He was mortally wounded May 31, 1862 in the Battle of Seven Pines near Richmond,VA." Page 12. "In 1913 she died in her sleep while at the home of her son George. She is buried in the old cemetery across the road from Penuel Church. According to Dorothy Terrell Marshall, the body of James Watts Terrell was brought home and buried in the same cemetery.
