    3. Yes, you are quite correct about William's middle name of Simon (my mistake). I have a copy of a deed where my grandfather and your grand father bought land from Mary McLean. I have copies of most of the pages of that book courtesey of John P. Frazier. My Grandfather was William Simon's brother David L. Frasier. As for the Frazier/Frasier I think they spelled their name Frasier. I know my father spelled it with an s until the army changed it in 1917. Do you have a copy of the book on the Brooks and Fraziers? The Frazier portion was published by John Purnell Frazier. I think most of the Fraziers who remained in Attala county, Ms were buried in McLean Cemetery. There was a branch of Fraziers in Attala also who emigrated from South Carolina. I do not know if there was a relationship or not.
