I have been in search of any photos of my father, Omer C. MOON - b 1937 in Campbell Co. He went to Rustburg High School but I can't seem to find a yearbook for the yrs: 1953-1954. Emails (at least 3) have not been acknowledged much less helfpful from the school librarian. I checked with the Jones Memorial Library and they sent me back to the school. I checked with the Campbell Co. library and they sent me back to Jones Memorial... LOL... anyway... Please, can anyone help me? All the photos of my father were lost when he passed in 1978. I've been trying for so long to find a photo or two of his younger years before going off to join the Navy in 1954. Does anyone recognize his name that may lend a story or tale or photo? I know the family lived on Candlers Mtn for sometime in the 1960's. Perhaps someone in that area may have befriended him or the family and may have a photo??? Daddy used to say that he "ran around" with the late Jerry Falwell and others when they were young boys.... perhaps something there? I would be so very grateful for anything.
