Cira is an Italian Surname Cira is also a German Surname Cira is alos a Polish Surname This name can bring up a very interesting chat- debate. As the Founder of the Jamestown Colony King James 1st Defender of the Protestant Faith was married to Princess Anne of the House of Orange. See the list of the first 3 ships into the colonies. The house of Stewat- Stuart was also realted to the house of Orange Prior to King James of Scotland becoming King James 1st of England. In other words she was from Holland as were numerous settlers that had deeds that were written in High Dutch that still need to be translated alse most of them connect to Mannakin Town the Palanitines and the Huguenot Societies of Colonial Virginia Also the Dutch and German colonies settled by Prince William of the house of Orange, who also became King William of England. who William and Mary College in Virginia is named for. Just some food for thought on this Cira or Chiar or Ciara on cross refrencing information Tony ----- Original Message ----- From: doris_baldwin@msn.com<mailto:doris_baldwin@msn.com> To: VACAMPBE-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:VACAMPBE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 14, 2006 6:50 PM Subject: [VACAMPBELL] Re: Cira? Hey Nora, If you live in Campbell Co., you may want to go to Jones Memorial Library at 2311 Memorial Ave., Lynchburg, VA. and they may be able to help you. The part of the library that you want is on the second floor. The people there are very nice and are willing to help you all they can.
