I don't know if Campbell kept their copy. You can borrow the state records on microfilm from Library of Virginia if you are a Virginia resident. Your local library should be able to help you. I am not sure if non Virginians can borrow. There is a project under way sponsored by the Virginia Genealogical Society to abstract the death records for that period. I don't think the Campbell records are up on the Library of Virginia website yet. Marilyn Jackson

    1. [VACAMPBE] Marriage Search A. J. Woodson-Etta Berkley?
    2. Mason Woodson
    3. Trying to find if Amroy James Woodson married Etta (BERKLEY)? (not sure of last name)about 1887, in the 1930 Census of Camden, NJ she was listed as 58 Years old and first marriage at 16 this would fit with the 1880 Census of a Etta BERKLEY being 8 years old with a father with a first name of Woodson living in Campbell Co. VA. as Amroy James Woodson was living in Lynchburg adjacent to Campbell Co. at this same time she was possibly a cousin. They were a Great Uncle and Aunt to me and I spent time with them in the 1940s. Thanks Mason mhem@bellsouth.net -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Surnames: Jones, McBeath, Cannifax, Radford, Maxey Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HBC.2ACI/1157.3.1.1 Message Board Post: As I stated before, Jane Hudson Jones was the sister of my ancestor Sarah B. Jones. Sarah and her husband John McBeath moved from Wayne Co, KY to Jamestown, Fentress Co, TN and lived by John Marshall Clemens. I imagine that is how Hannibal Clemens met Jane. I have the marriage bond of Hannibal and Jane that I obtained at the Court House in Monticello.. Permission was given by my 4th Gr grandfather James Jones. Since Hannibal was over 21 there would be no reason for him to need permission from his parents. Hannibal signed the Marriage bond. . John Marshall Clemens moved to from Jamestown, TN to Florida, MO where his son Samuel was born. I imagine Jane moved with them since her son John Marshall Clemens was born 12 Oct 1835 in MO. They had an older son James born 1830. I am not sure where Hannibal died. I show 1 Aug 1836 in Jamestown, but I have no verification. Jane moved back to Monticello to live with her mother Mary Jane Buster Jones who was my 4th gr grandmother.. Hannibal was the son of Samuel Clemens and Pamela Goggins. Rosemary
