Ann, how nice of you to write! I've been out of town for a few days and am just now getting around to answering all that stacked up mail! I strongly suspect that our Duncans will lead back to Rev. William Duncan too - the William carries down through every generation; each generation has at least one Methodist minister to their credit, as well. My husband is certainly not a minister, but was in charge of chapel management while in the Air Force. Would love to hear about any siblings of your Benjamin Duncan (b.1755), as that is the era where our supposed father of Charles Duncan, b. 1775(Va), d. in Blairsville, Ga. is supposed to have come from Buckingham Co, Va. His name is purportedly Jacob. Where were yours before Benjamin? What part of Va? Who was the immigrant in your branch? If you have a minute and could answer any of my questions, I would be so grateful. With the burning of the courthouse in Buckingham Co, Va.
