The will of Alexander Stinson was proved in March 1782 Court of Caswell County, North Carolina. In it he stated his daughter Nancy was to have land in Buckingham County, Va. He also named his wife Sarah, referred to any unborn child, referred to personal estate left him by his grandfather Childress. Executors were his wife Sarah and his father John. (Caswell Co.
