I have been to Buckingham Co several times. The courthouse still is the best bet for research. Most of the records are after 1869 but some deeds and land transactions are from earlier. The library in Dillwyn has a small but decent genealogy section there. Talking with the locals is always fun and usually a great source of info. What names are you looking for in particular? Kathy H.
