Hi All: I'm looking for the parents of my gggrandfather, William A. TAYLOR. Information I have is from his civil war records, his wife's pension application and some West Virginia records. William A. TAYLOR b: ca 1819 in Buckingham Co, VA d: Jan 16, 1866 in Lewis Co, WV. Married March 7, 1841 in Buckingham Co, VA to Mary Ann WARNER. They moved to Lewis Co, VA(WV) about 1845. WARNER may be Mary Ann's name from a previous marriage(unverified) to a James WARNER. If this prior marriage becomes fact, then I don't know her maiden name. William A. TAYLOR and Mary Ann WARNER had the following children: Melvina Taylor b: ca 1842 probably in Buckingham Co, VA. Julia Lee Taylor b: ca 1844 probably in Buckingham Co, VA. Emily A. Taylor b: ca 1846 probably in Lewis Co, VA(WV). Benjamin Taylor b: ca 1847 in Lewis Co, VA(WV). Robert Taylor b: ca 1848 in Lewis Co, VA(WV). George R. Taylor b: July 13, 1951 in Lewis Co, VA(WV). Louisa A. Taylor b: Jun 17, 1853 in Lewis Co, VA(WV). Marcellus R. Taylor b: Feb 6, 1956 in Lewis Co, VA(WV).(My GGrandfather) Phillip Taylor b: Jun 1859 d: Jun 4, 1860 in Lewis Co, VA(WV).
