James remained on the tax roll in Buckingham Co unttil at least 1795. John also left land on Fighting Creek, Cumberland Co, to his son William. A William BLACKBURN, born in VA in 1764, appears on the tax roll in Wilkes Co NC in 1788. He named a son Lambeth T. I'm looking for proof that the James BLACKBURN that was born in Cumberland County and married Rhoda BAUGH and the Wilkes County William are brothers, and grandsons of John Blackburn.
