Hello, I am new to the list. My ancestor, Keziah McAshan/McShan, was born in Buckingham Co. Va. in 1775 to Nehemiah McAshan/McShan and his wife, Keziah Chambers, daughter of William Chambers, Buckingham Co. Va. The father of Nehemiah was Richard McAshan, Buckingham Co. Va. Keziah McAshan married John Moore and they came to Walton Co. Ga. about 1836. If any of this sounds familiar, please see my website or contact me.
