Tom, I have a little info on Sam Howard b. 1762 In Buckingham Co. This is taken from Genealogical records of Buckingham Co., Va., by E. R. Whitley. Do you already have this info? It looks a lot like what you wrote about him...but does not give any info on his parents. If you don't have this let me know and I'll send it. He was clerk of Bedford Co. and Burgess of B'ham Co. Jane
