Hello Jean I will say that your message is interesting! Let me tell you about some of what is in my files. I will put the similar names in capitals to show similarity with your story. A lady school teacher went in a covered wagon to Nashville from Cumberland County. She wrote a book, "Old Days in Nashville" Her name was JANE THOMAS. She never married. She wrote that Sarah (Sally) WOOD came from LONDON, ENGLAND. The mother of Jane Thomas was MICAH BALLEW (sounds like Ballow?) Micah married JESSE W. Thomas, son of my Jesse Thomas who married Sally WOOD. Wow! Please read what I have written and tell me what you think, please.
