I am a recent (about 2 weeks) subscriber of the VABUCKIN-L list. I saw your note re Stanton, etc., and referencing your book re Lost Marriages of Buckingham. I am having trouble finding or confirming my great grandfather's parents. My grandfather was Noel Jackson Allen (1869-1943) m. Naomi Byrd Brown. He was born and died in Buckingham Co. His father was Simeon Allen (1823?-1910?) m. Martha Frances Dunevant. Notes from great aunts say the Simeon descended from Capt. Richard Allen. I have lots of information on Richard, but I haven't been able to establish Simeon's parents. Do you have any insight? And, especially, if you authored the book on Lost Marriages, where could I buy it? Thank you, Noel Allen
