I've ordered a book on Buckingham County cemeteries and I'm hoping it will provide the location of the Snoddy family plot. I have a note written by Thomas Bransford who visited the Snoddy homestead in 1858. The tombstones for some of my early ancestors were there at that time & if they are still there, I hope to find them. If I do, I'll make any pictures I take available to any/all interested people. I've also ordered a book called Genealogical Records of Buckingham County. Both are from www.hearthstonebooks.com . They have close to 20 books on Buckingham County and eventually I hope to have them all. If any of you have experience with these books, I would appreciate your comments. There are census records for 1850, 1860 and 1870. Books of marriage records, land tax summaries and implied deeds. (Anyone know hat an "implied" deed is?) John Snoddy
