I'm just starting work on the Dameron line, but you have so much already done. I only have two sources that led me to the Dameron name, Carroll County, Missouri Genealogical Society and a researcher doing work on my Thomas line. I will look for copies of the wills for John Thomas and the will you mentioned for Lazarus 29 Sep 1748 proven 14 Feb 1749 Albemarle Cty VA, Bk A. Those should help me add to my sources.
