William Franklin and Judith had John William Franklin (The Liberty Baptist Church records say John Franklin middle name is William not Walker which the family thought that was his name.) he married Fettna Goin daughter of Doctor Merry Goin . Doctor Merry Goin son of Jesse Goin.Do I have that right? Now I have a little bit of info. I found a Jesse Goin married Jenny Ailstock in Albemarle Va. Could that Jesse be the same Jesse Goin who married Lucy.? Could Jesse Goin who married Lucy have been married before ?. There have been some people who seem to think Jesse Goin who married Jenny A! ilstock is the same person who married Lucy. But no proof. I have the marriage lis of John William Franklin and Mary Louise Goin married her after Fettna died. There was a 30 year difference in their ages. He lied about his age on the marriage certificate. She was called Dona or Dony. She is listed on the census records as Dony Franklin living with a Goin family. So she may have taken the name Goin from her Uncle or relative she was living with.
