As the story goes the sisters vowed not to marry until they had saved the plantation from foreclosure. The requirements for WWII accomplished what the sister were struugling to do, but too late for there to be any direct heirs for Page who married long-time beau, Branch Bird/Byrd. Spent many a lovely Sunday with them. Just wondering. JTL
