DUNCANs in Albemarle and Fluvanna Counties are almost surely connected to John DUNCAN Sr but I have not been able to prove or disprove this. From land records I feel John DUNCAN Sr had at least 2 sons, Jacob Sr and John Jr, no doubt there were more children but I am not comfortable in naming any more at this point. John DUNCAN Jr had at least 2 sons, George and Edward DUNCAN. I have found out fairly recently that Jacob DUNCAN Sr married Mary "Molly" NEWTON.
