Arvonia is located in the corner of Buckingham Co. near Dillwyn and New Canton. It is also where the famous slate quarries are located. I know I have seen the name Pankey in that area several times. There are Pankey headstones in the Buckingham Baptist Cemetery on State road #15 and also the Arvon Memorial Cemetery on stat road 675. As to the store I cannot help..sorry.
