    3. The Scottsville Museum has posted the William E. Burgess photograph of the Buckingham Veterans taken 1908. There is also a list of some of the individuals pictured.     3. I believe that Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Shepherd (1840-1927) is in the third row, third from left (near the center of the picture). No beard. If you want, I can email you a picture of him that was taken circa 1905. He married Malissa Frances Word, both born in and died in Buckingham County between Sprouses Corner and Buckingham Court House. Wilmer L.
