Thanks, Ruby Talley Smith rubygem@aol.com David WARINNER was born about 1760 in Buckingham Co, VA. He died about 1820 in Buckingham Co, VA. LAND: Owned land in Buckingham Co, VA from at least 1790 to 1819. From 1821 to 1840 the land was carried on the tax records as his estate. From 1857 to 1865 there was land in Buckingham Co, VA owned by a non-resident, David Warinner. This must have been David Warinner Jr. In 1790 he acquired 380 acres co-owned with Truman Warner. In 1834 the land was said to be adjacent Fleming Jones. In 1838 it was adjacent Dr. Jones. In 1839 adjacent the estate of Fleming Jones. In 1847 Reuben Warinner sold his interest in the estate to James Brown, sold by Word, trustee. In 1841 there was 380 acres listed as adjacent to Taylor; In 1847 the land was listed as adjacent Hickok; then for several years it was listed as near Enon Church, 4 miles southeast of the courthouse. His residence was on Horsepen Creek adjacent Glovers Creek, 3 miles southeast of the courthouse. David married Elizabeth MURPHY. Elizabeth was born about 1770 in Buckingham Co, VA. They had the following children: 2 F i. Mary WARINNER "Polly" was born about 1790 in Buckingham Co, VA. CENSUS: 1870 Maysville, Buckingham Co, VA head of household, Agnes Warriner is living with her. 3 M ii. Thomas W. WARINNER was born about 1792. LAND: He owned land in Maysville, Buckingham Co, VA from at least 1821 to 1826. In 1826 he sold it to Peyton Harrison. Thomas married Sarah D. LADD in Prince Edward Co, VA. 4 F iii. Agnes WARINNER was born about 1795 in Buckingham Co, VA. CENSUS: 1870 Maysville, Buckingham Co, VA she is listed as blind and is living with Polly Warriner. 5 M iv. Reuben WARINNER was born about 1800 in Buckingham Co, VA. He died before 1870. CENSUS: 1850 Buckingham Co, VA, living with him was Polly Warriner, age 60, Agnes Warriner age 55 and Betsey Jones age 50; 1860 Buckingham Co, VA Agnes and Polly were still living with him. LAND: In 1847 Reuben Warinner sold his interest in the estate of David Warinner to James Brown, sold by Word, trustee. 6 F v. Elizabeth WARINNER "Betsy" was born about 1800. Betsy married JONES. + 7 M vi. William WARINNER. 8 M vii. David WARINNER Jr. 9 M viii. James WARINNER. 10 F ix. Mattie WARINNER.
