Does anyone have information on Jacob Duncan living in the old Buckingham County Courthouse with his family of eight and eleven slaves prior to the burning of the Courthouse? I would like to learn why he was living there and exactly when and how long he made this his residence. Were there apartments in the old building? Any information would be very much appreciated!
