Attn: Marilyn Symonds Marilyn, I sent a copy of your recent msg ref the subject people to a friend who wrote a manuscript on the STINSON family. Among the info in it was Joseph HOOPER. She is not on computer, so I printed off and mailed her your msg. She would like to hear from you, with these specific questions she has. "The last e -mail you sent me from Marilyn Symonds is most interesting. Could you get her snail-mail address so that I can write her directly?? Would appreciate it very much.." "The Hooper will poses a multitude of unanswered questions, and it certainlyl does nothing to clarify the relationships especially of Joanna and the Stinsons. Among my questions are: `1) Why was Alexander, David, and Cary (STINSON) omitted? 2) Why did Joseph not name his daughter that married Henry Trent? 3) Everyone was identified except Hugh Hooper. Who was he? 4) Why did Joseph Hooper ;buoy George Carrington a mourning suit ??? (Carrington was a wealthy man and thought to be an attorney) In another reference I saw an item which stated that George Hooper, the son of Joseph Hooper, had chosen George Carrington as his quardian. Was the "nephew" really Joseph's son? These are some of the questions that I have been looking for the answers. Perhaps Marily lhas some material that will help in resolving them." I would suppose anyone who wants to jump in on this subject would be welcomed and I would be glad to coordinate e-mail privately to those who wish to join in (privately because of the mail address exchanges).
