She writes me back and says the following: (she is NOT on line) "The last e-mail you sent me from Marilyn Symonds is most interesting. Could you get her snail-mail address so that I can write her directly?? Would appreciate it very much. The Hooper will poses a multitude of unanswered questions, and it certainly does nothing to clarify the relationships expecially of Joanna and the Stinsons. Among my questions are: (1) Why was Alexander, David, and Cary omitted?? (2) Why did Joseph not name his daughter that married Henry Trent? (3) Everyone was identified except Hugh Hooper, who was he? (4) Why did Joseph Hoooper buy George Carrington a mourning suit??? (Carington was a wealthy man and thought to be an attorney) In another reference I saw an item whjich stated that George Hooper, the son of Joseph Hooper, had chosen George Carrington as his quardian. Was the "nephew" really Joseph's son? These are some of the questions that I have been looking for the answers. Perhaps Marilyn has some material that will help in resolving them." Seeking information on Henry Trent (b. ca 1780s), son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Edwards) Trent, who was living at Bent Creek in Buckingham County during the 1820s. Henry married Phoebe Walton (b. ca. 1788), daughter of Anthony and Rebecca (Johnson) Walton of Bent Creek (now in Appomattox County). What happened to them?
