    3. Can anyone tell me marriage, death, maiden name information on Elijah and Nancy Blankenship. They show up in the Buckingham 1850 census, Dist. #1, being age 55. Siblings are: Julia, Richard S., Sarah, Leonard C., Linvill E., Parthena, Susan, Walker S., Charles. They also show up in the 1860 Buckingham census, Dist. #2, New Canton. After 1860 I have found no records. This is my gggrandfather/mother. Thanks for your help.

    3. Janice: Here's just a tad of info: A son of Elijah Blankenship and Nancy Blankenship, Leonard m. Susan Taylor 1856. Leonard was a wheelwright. The bride was age 25 single b. B'ham Co. d/o James Taylor & Docia Taylor. There is a record of a Joseph T. Blankenship who m. Martha Patteson in 1866. Joseph age 22 single b. B'ham, a farmer. The bride was age 22 b. B'ham.
